How to prepare for the ultimate celebration of house music...
With one week to go until the ninth edition of our flagship festival, nearly 5000 house heads are gearing up for the ultimate celebration of house music.
Final tickets remain for Defected Croatia 2025, taking place Wednesday 30th July to the early hours of Monday 4th August. Click the tabs above to browse available options.

FESTIVAL WRISTBANDS
Everything on our festival site at The Garden Resort, Tisno, is paid for with your festival wristband.
You can top-up your wristband from kiosks using card, ApplePay or cash (Euros). At Barbarella’s and on the boats (including the Secret Island Party) you can top-up using your card or ApplePay.
Refunds for unused balance are available at the end of the festival for a limited amount of time, from the last day until two days after closing. Any unclaimed balance at this time will be lost!
You can ask to check your balance at any bar, food outlet or kiosk.
FOOD & DRINK
There’s a restaurant on-site called Wabi Sabi, serving food and drinks from breakfast to dinner.
There is also a food court on-site, with a selection of outlets from lunchtime until late.
Both areas include vegetarian and vegan options.
There is also an on-site shop for general groceries. Available items include water, chilled drinks, beer, wine, snacks, suntan lotion, cigarettes, ice-cream and more...
The shop is located halfway between the Main Stage and the Olive Grove, away from the main path to the left.
Opening times are 8am to 6pm. It may look closed but try the door!
MERCH
The on-site DStore returns this year with a host of new products. Essentials include shirts, vests, hats and lots of fans for the hot festival days.
Look out for limited-edition items, like the Defected Croatia 2025 range and the festival edition of our Defected x Meyba football shirt. Opening times are Thursday - Sunday, 12pm - 8pm
Location is beside the decking, between the food court and the sea.
HYDRATION STATIONS
It gets hot at Defected Croatia, both on and off the dancefloor, so take care of each other by staying hydrated and wearing hats. Temperatures can reach 35 degrees (celsius) during the festival with a real feel of up to 38.
Top tip: Pack electrolytes / rehydration sachets.
There are water taps at the camping block - turn left just before the Olive Grove and follow the path past the massage station.
FOOTWEAR
The surfaces in Tisno can be dusty with a mix of gravel, paving and grass. On the boats, the decking can get wet. Therefore, think carefully about your footwear.
At night, the chance for a trip is more likely. Be yourself and dress how you like, but be safe!
Similarly, a pair of water shoes with solid soles is recommended if you are planning on enjoying the sea at The Garden Resort’s beach.
You can find them online for a reasonable price, but sizes tend to run big. Some shops in Tisno also have them.
TISNO BRIDGE
The bridge in the centre of Tisno connects the mainland with Murter island. Across the bridge there's the Borovik Hotel and some apartment accommodations, and further on the island are three the villages of Jezera, Betina and Murter itself.
The bridge opens for 20 minutes twice a day to allow boats through, so all vehicles and people can't cross during these times, so plan ahead to avoid missing your favourite artists or a boat party.

FLAMINGO FRIDAY
Friday is your opportunity to go wild with your best flamingo outfit, patterned shirts, hats or even full-blown costumes. Top Defected superfan Nick Murphy keeps the spirit alive each year:
“It started by accident in the original community WhatsApp back in 2018 when everyone was comparing outfits. Since then it's become a day for self-expression, whatever that means to each person, with a flamingo twist!
It continues to be a thing because people love it and keep it going - it's a community thing, and a great way for people to connect.”
PHARMACY / MEDICAL
Tisno is a small village so there's only one pharmacy. It opens 7:30am-4pm weekdays and 7:30am-1:30pm on Saturday.

There are also paramedics in Tisno, next door to the pharmacy.
If you're an EU citizen, bring your ID. If you're non-EU, bring ID and proof of insurance.

BOAT PARTIES
Boat Parties are now sold out. If you are a lucky ticket holder, it may be tempting to jump off the boat for a swim. If you do, you'll have your wristband taken away and be removed from the festival.
More dancing, less jumping!
