TICKETS

Once you confirm your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with all your booking details. You can log into your account on croatia.defected.com/bookings to view and download your ticket(s) at any time. This makes it easy to locate your ticket/booking when needed and avoids misplacing on your device! 

Otherwise, your ticket (PDF) will be sent to you via email 7 days before the event. Please note that if you have purchased Payment Plan Festival Tickets and/or Payment Plan Accommodation, then these ticket types will not be available to download until they are paid in full. Please print out your ticket or download it onto your phone. Bring your ticket Along with your Photo ID to the venue Box Office Onsite At The Garden Resort, you will then be given a wristband.

Yes, so long as you are present to collect the tickets.

No, all festival goers must collect their ticket in person with photo ID. Please ensure that all bookings made with multiple attendees have the correct details of each attendee so that they can collect them individually. Name changes can be made by logging in to your account and following the instructions on how to change a name.

Once you have booked your ticket(s), you should receive an email confirmation. You can log into your account to download your tickets, or your tickets will be sent to you automatically 7 days before the event. 

You should have the same number of tickets as the amount you purchased. E.g. if you bought 4 tickets, you should have 4 QR codes.

Yes, we actually encourage you to show your ticket on your phone! Please ensure you have downloaded the ticket onto your phone so that the barcode can be scanned.

Please take your ticket to the box office when you arrive and we will give you a wristband for the Festival and/or Afterparty. You can either print your ticket or download it onto your phone. Don’t forget you will also need photo ID. Boat Party tickets are scanned before you board the boat so please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure time.

Defected Croatia

You will be asked to show your photo ID when collecting wristbands at the venue Box Office to prove that the name on the ticket matches the name on your ID.

Please check our website nearer to the time for opening and closing times. We will also send a mailer to all ticket holders with Box Office information.

The lead booker is the person who makes the booking and is the first named person on the booking.

Only one person can be the lead booker, they will book tickets on behalf of the whole group.

No, you will need to enter the names and emails of all your friends in your group.

Unfortunately, as part of our T&C'S, we do not accept refunds on tickets.

TICKET RESALE

If you can no longer attend and want to resell your ticket, you can do so by logging into your Easol account HERE where you will find your booking with the option to resell items. From there you can select the tickets you want to resell. You will receive an email notification to confirm when your tickets have been resold and another email when your refund is processed.

You can also resell your ticket via Ticketswap. Please follow the link HERE which  gives you a step-by-step guide on how to sell your ticket. 

Please note that you have the option to list your tickets for resale on both platforms, but they can only be bought on one of them. 

Only the lead booker can resell tickets in a booking.

There are no additional fees, however you won’t be refunded your original booking fee.

No, you cannot set the resale price. You will receive the amount you paid for the ticket(s) minus the booking fee.

We recommend using our official resale platform to ensure a secure and reliable resale process. 

Please note, If you buy your ticket from any other ticket re-seller platforms, this ticket will not be accepted at the box office.

No, your booking must be fully paid before you can put your ticket(s) up for resale.

PAYMENT PLANS

Yes, we have a payment plan option available. Please select the payment plan option on the ticket page.


If you pay via the payment plan option, you will pay the first instalment at the time of booking and then pay the subsequent instalments monthly. 

A £30 payment plan fee is added for this service. The first instalment may differ between ticket tiers. 

Balance payments must be made as per the terms of your payment plan. Failure to do so would put you at risk of the booking being cancelled and losing any money already paid towards the ticket(s).

Yes, Klarna is available and will appear upon checkout.

No, the payment plan is fixed and the schedule must be agreed at the time of booking in order to proceed.

We do not offer split payments. If you are paying in full at the time of booking or if a payment plan is set up, payments will be made using the lead booker's card details.

Payment plan customers do have the facility to update their card details by logging in here 

If you have booked a payment plan and we have your card saved, you can update your payment details by logging into croatia.defected.com/bookings

It is your responsibility to ensure that the payment card details remain valid and up to date. If you need to change your payment card details you must do this before payment of the next installment becomes due.

If a payment plan has been set up, we will automatically take the installment on each payment date on the plan. It is your responsibility to ensure payments do not fail.

If we are unable to charge your card, due to your card being expired, insufficient funds or it has been declined by the bank, don’t panic. We’ll attempt to take the payment again in seven days, giving you time to fix the issue or update your payment method.
Please be aware, if the same payment fails 3 times, then your booking is at risk of being cancelled.

Payment must be made as per the terms on your plan or paid in full at the time of booking (whichever is applicable). Failure to make your payments on time may put your booking at risk of being cancelled.

Firstly, check with your bank as they will be able to advise you why your transaction has declined.
The issue may be because of the rollout of 3D Secure across all financial institutions, which is causing some technical difficulties for customers shopping online. To alleviate this, always ensure that your bank has your most up-to-date contact details, so you can verify the transaction.

Once you've created your account you can log into croatia.defected.com/bookings to view all purchases, make further payments, and download your tickets when they are available.

Payment Plan Festival Tickets and/or Payment Plan Accommodation ticket types will not be available to download until they are paid in full.

The boat parties will be 3 hours long.

Please ensure you bring a copy of your ticket either printed or on your phone as they will need to be scanned for entry. No wristbands are required. Tickets will also be sent via email 7 days before the event. However, you can log into your Easol account and download your ticket at any time. 

All boats depart from the Pontoon down by The Garden Resort’s beachfront.

Please make sure to arrive 30 minutes before the boat's start time to ensure you get on.

The time on your ticket is the departure time of the boat. Please arrive at the pontoon 30 minutes before the departure time. The boats run a tight schedule and always depart on time. Failure to turn up 30 mins before the departure time might result in you missing the boat.

Basically, forget trains! The buses are altogether quicker, cheaper and connect all cities with a regular service. You can buy tickets on board the bus, but you should get a receipt. Longer journeys have service stops included in the travel time.

By Air: The nearest airports to the village of Tisno are Zadar (45 mins), Split (90 mins) or Zagreb (4 hrs). Other airport options in Croatia are Dubrovnik, Rijeka or Pula. Try Skyscanner to compare millions of flights to find you the cheapest deal.

GENERAL

Yes, there is an age restriction for Defected Croatia. The minimum age requirement for attendees is 18.

Recreational drugs are as illegal in Croatia as they are in most places around the world and their use will be looked upon very seriously by the Croatian Police.

Yes, you can re-enter the festival during ‘festival hours’, as long as you have your wristband on.


You can enter the site after ‘festival hours’ if you have an accommodation wristband.

In the ‘main reception’ for the apartments or the ‘info point’ of The Garden Resort.


There is an ATM machine on the festival site, in the main reception area of the apartments. In addition there are 8 other ATMs in the centre of Tisno, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from The Garden Tisno.

Defected Croatia is a cashless festival. You will need to top up your RFID wristbands to be able to purchase anything on-site.

Private changing facilities are reserved for the use of Campers and Glampers. However, there is an open air shower on the beach and a public toilet for general use.


Onsite at The Garden Resort there is the Trattoria Magnolia which is open from breakfast till late. 

There is also a food court available on site with different stalls offering a variety of food. In Tisno village there are lots of konobas to choose from, serving a selection of local and international cuisine.
